Question about the GDFB Mitten Gauntlets
Hi everyone. I have a question about these gauntlets from GDFB:

I'm wanting to get a pair of gauntlets that will work fairs and keep my hands protected. How do these gauntlets perform? Are they good for the price? I have a limited budget, and these fall in the the price category, so any answers and feedback would be great.

Thanks, for helping out a newbie.

Zach
I used these for a couple years and they worked well. However, you will want a decent leather glove underneath and you will have to fine tune the straps for a snug fit. I actually added wider straps to mine. All in all, they were a decent value and offered good protection for the money.

I use a set of welding gloves, and I find they fit well & work well.

Thanks for the tips guys,

Sorry I haven't been able to respond in time, school was pretty busy.
I went ahead and ordered the gauntlets, I'll write a review when I get them.

Thanks again,
Zach.
I'm surprised to see anyone likes these. I find them terrible. I have the pair in the second link, and I think they are almost worthless for standard sword work. They are only okay for purely half-sword or spear work, where you need less finger dexterity, but the rivets blow out very easily. The articulation isn't great, and ultimately they're pretty shoddy. I couldn't recommend them to anyone.
