Hello.
I am wondering about avantail to bascinets. I have heard that in the late 14th century the end of the avantail could be square and not round, not covering the shoulders that much. Just hanging straigt down, ending in a clean cut (making it square).
And that this wasnt unusual in scandinavia. But I have never seen anything to support this.
Does anybody know anything about this? Thank you for reading this.
