If you are any where in the MN TPT channel market you can see us on TV this evening! The A&A crew will be featured working on items and discussing what we do. The show is Minnesota Originals and will have the episode on line in the near future for those that are not able to get TPT. (there is a promo blurb up no with Chris discussing mail) We hope you find it interesting and help illustrate what is its like to work on our items.

Well, that was exiting for me as I think that the English Bill being shown being heat treated is very probably " mine ". Wink

Well, the Dijon mustard treatment I gave it gave it back that strait from the heat treat grey finish I really like a lot.

I already posted a review of this English bill but I'm adding a couple of pics of it again for those who might have missed it.

And yes it does have a nice ring to it if you hit it with anything.

Seeing a piece one has being made, at least a small part of it being made is really trilling.

Also, seeing the shop and some custom pieces + armour not usually seen in the regular catalogue sort of should remind people that A&A can make custom arms and armour not limited to the catalogue selections. Wink

That's really neat! I agree, you have the best job in the world. I just went from reading Nathan Robinson's "A big fan of swords" thread and thinking, "I should get rid of some of my pieces," to watching this and thinking, "I really need to order something from Arms and Armor!"

Nicely done piece Craig! I like that they let you guys speak for yourselves, with just some tasteful music for accompanyment. Seeing your shop makes me want to come down and visit you some day; I was nearby a couple of times in the 90s but unfortunately was unaware of A&A at that time. Glad though to have an A&A product in the mail right now and another one in the wings.

I was able to record the program ... I need to figure out if I can transfer it to a DVD ... I admit to being excited to see the Armor we did making it on the program ... Great promo for you guys ... Hopefully it will lead to renewed interest and sales .

That was a really wonderful piece! The people involved in the production really did a wonderful job of showing the hard work you guys at A&A do, but moreso I think the interviews with Chris and the showing of the Oakeshott Institute's program for children really put our entire hobby in a very positive light. Well done!

That was great. I really enjoyed it! Very tastefully done, without all the "pop" that we can see in many programs featuring historical arms and armour.

Outstanding! Deep enough to be of interest to insiders, broad enough to serve a general audience. Tasteful, informative, non-sensational. Thank you, public television! Take notes, cable networks.

I loved the whole piece but I was especially taken by Poor's observation that the armourer's tool forms still exist, but at the jeweler's scale. It reminded me of the fantastic miniatures in the Royal Armouries and elsewhere.
