Registration is live and for January only there is a 1/3 discount on all levels of registration (http://thecombatcon.com/register).

There are three this year:
General - Get into the convention for the weekend. $80 normally, now $54
Premium - Get in all weekend. Priority seating at the panels and access to the hospitality suite from 1pm on. $150 normally, now $100
VIP - Get in all weekend. Priority access to the classes and panels, access to the hospitality suite all day, box lunches Sat & Sun plus 2 free drink tix for the Con bars. $250 normally, now $168.

The preliminary list of Instructors and Featured Guests for CombatCon 2012 is now online!

As you look through the list please remember this is just the preliminary list. Many people have been invited and have not responded yet. Both lists will grow over the coming months so make sure to check the website for updates.

We also want to make sure that everyone knows we will have caps to the classes this year. Many of the classes were a little too full last year and instructors have asked that we keep classes to a certain number of participants. If you want to make sure to get into particular classes make sure to register at the VIP level (priority access to classes) and get there early to line up for the class.

More special guests and instructors are lined up for CombatCon July 6th-8th, 2012. We can now confirm that Nick Gillard, the fight director for Star Wars I, II and III, will be back!

Nick (assisted by Kyle Rowling) will teach a light sabre master class at Combat Con in Las Vegas July 6th, 2012. After the great success of this class last year you won’t want to miss this opportunity to learn light saber fighting from the man who created it for Star Wars I, II and III. In this master class Nick will teach a complicated run from Revenge Of The Sith which covers all of the Jedi moves while explaining the rules involved in Jedi fighting. He will also teach how to write it yourself. This World Premiere master class lets you learn it the same way Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen learned it!

This special master class will be a separate charge, but only participants registered for Combat Con will be able to attend. You can register for Combat Con at any level (General, Premium or VIP) to be eligible. The Jedi Fighting master class will be $150 above the cost of Combat Con registration. It will be two hours and there are three sessions to choose from (9-11am, 12-2pm or 3-5pm). Special registration for it will open in Feb/March and currently registered CombatCon participants will have first chance to register.
