Hi I am trying to do some research and find out if they hand painted surcoats and other clothing in the late 14th century. I believe I have read they did some place but I am having a hard time finding it now. Although I have found some things on woodblock printing being used on frabric at the time. So if you can think of any example of references to hand painting on clothing/fabric please let me know.
