Parade helmet Charles V
Heres an odd one for you, this is a repro of Charles Vs parade helmet from a fantasy parade garniture by Helmschmitte, made by myself and Joseph Dawes at White Rose Armoury. Its gilded with 22 carat gold...we reckon around 500 hours work......never again!

Dave,

Fantastic work. Do you have any more pics, or a link to more pics?

That is absolutely amazing.
Wow, what a piece of art. That's quite an achievement!

Is this piece going to a private customer or will it be placed in a museum?
This is a beautiful reproduction. Could we get any more photos at different angles? I'd love to admire it more thoroughly! Because it's not necessarily a very popular piece, here's a picture I found of it online after a bit of searching. Cheers.

Hi, thanks for your kind words.
I have attached some more images as requested.
Gregory that picture and 2 others (one from the other side and one angled from the front) are all we had to go on, what we didnt realise at first was that this view has its eyebrow broken off, this is clear when you view it from the front and other side., when you do look closely at the helmet it has sustained a fair amount of damage over its lifetime. Appologies for the quality of pix, I am useless with a canera!
