Cool! I really like the damascene/inlay work on the hilt hardware. It's always nice to see someone making the more unique blades like this.

Well, more of a ring-hilt semispatha. Yes, I'd say that's what it is, one of the types of swords that started appearing about the time of Hadrian, possibly influenced by the Sarmatians. I think there is a sketch of this particular hilt in Oakeshott's Archeology of Weapons, if I'm not mistaken...
