here is another piece I made earlier this year. It is a baselard based on an english brass tomb plate (ca.1400) and some details from several other earlier (1370s) stone effigies from Germany.
The handle is made of walnut root, the blade is C45.
The sheath has a wooden core (ash), the sheath covering is dear, the scabbard slide and chape are
tinned brass.
