On this one we were provided the scabbard fittings. The objective was to blend the design of the fittings with the scabbard leather to create a visual flow.
As always comments are welcome.

Hello All,
Sonny has done his usual great work on this one!

Recognize the sword Tim? I had originally wanted silver fittings, but could not locate a slide in silver. After finding other custom scabbards that matched steel sword fitting with brass scabbard lockets and chapes I went with the brass set.

It will have a thin belt when I get the fittings from Germany.

All the best
Robert

Excellent scabbard. I have to ask though I assume the answer is yes...did you make the scabbard metal fittings? Very nice work if you did!

Thanks,

Bryce

A very pleasing bit of work that. Fine attention to detail and very well executed.

The frog, chape and slider are available in cast bronze and silver from a number of Polish traders.
