Does Albion have a service where you can purchase their swords sharper than what they send them (factory edge)? Or is that as sharp as they send them (which is pretty sharp)? I always wondered this...
Your tongue is your sword, & your mouth is your shield; what you say can stab you, & what you don't say can protect you...

Why not ask the maker what services they offer? Happy That seems to be the most efficient route.

In the past, they have shipped at least one example with a sharper-than-normal edge to a customer, but I don't know if it's a standard option. But many people find their factory edge to be plenty sharp. An extra-sharp edge might be less durable than what they normally put on there.

But why not ask them about what they offer and what the pros and cons of the options are? Happy

Albion - Europe branch offers pretty much any sword in "sharp" or "butterknife sharp" dulled version, so that at least seems easy, don't know about making it any sharper....
