What is your favourite Albion sword for one-handed cutting.
What is your favourite Albion sword for one-handed cutting practice?

I always see lots of love for certain Albion swords for two-handed cutting practice but I think it's time to hear some love for their one-handed cutters.

Thanks for you opinions and experiences.

The Crecy cuts just fine single handedly. Its a light enough blade that you can easily handle the blade during a good cut. If you are talking using a sword versus a longsword, I can't really help. Never did much with a sword.
I'm interested in experiences with any Albion as long as it was used one-handed when you made the cut.

I don't think I've had a bad experience cutting with any Albion I've owned. So far I've owned;

Saint Maurice
Squire
Solingen
Tritonia
SL Viking

The only one out of the bunch I didn't cut anything with was the viking as I intended to just handle it a bit and resell it. While each sword offered a different experience cutting, they all preformed admirably and well within the characteristics of their type. The Solingen and the Squire both were fast swords that were quick to recover, with the Squire having a slightly better feel in the cut, and the Saint Maurice and Tritonia were every bit the beasts their stats imply. If I had to do it all again (Which I do) I'd go with the Squire and the Tritonia. That's just my personal preference though so please take it with a large grain of salt.
With the Albion Prince I was successful at cutting 16 water bottles in a row without the bottom half falling off the cutting stand, seen here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j69b3T-9oMM
This was part of a competition started up on the SBG website a couple years ago.

If anyone has ever cut water bottles before then you know how difficult this can be.

Boringly consistent, but impressive. ;) :p :D
The Tritonia is one of my favourites. I also like the Knight, although it doesn't cleave with the same power as the Tritonia.

I couldn't have said it better myself, and I got a GOOD laugh out of your response. :p
I don't own one, but I've cut with it: the Berserker.

In a word: savage.
