I am looking for anyone sword maker who would be interested in making an early eighteenth-century iron hilted cutlass.
Looking for a munitions-grade sword. Would need two versions of the same sword, one bearing an edge, and the other one designed for use in sparring practices. Not basing this design off just one sword. See attachment with images from Boarders Away: With Steel and Blades of the American Revolution for the sword I have in mind. Can send better image of this attachment if necessary.

David,
I've moved this out of the Marketplace into the Off-Topic Talk forum. You're seeking a maker, which is not what that subforum is for. Having the post here will increase your chances of finding what you're looking for.

Have you tried contacting Old Dominion Forge? I don't know if he's accepting commissions at the moment, but there are a few swords on the website that are very much like what you're looking for.

Well, I tried Old Dominion Forge, and they unfortunately cannot take my order at this time. So, are there any other makers out there I should try? Are there any sword makers out there on this forum interested in doing these swords?

Looks like the kind of thing Ben Potter of Privateer Armory might be good for.
