A&A Custom 16th C Longsword

We have a truly excellent example of a 16th C. Longsword on our Muster page. A replica of an original sword in the City Museum of Koln, this striking sword is detailed by hand with chisel and file. A great chance to add a beautiful sword to your collection.

Pretty sweet looking. A little outside my usual range of collection but the details on the guard are really neat, especially at the tips of the quillons.
I'll say what I said last time you made a sword of similar awesomeness:

Somebody else buy this one quick before I cave.

Thank you for your consideration.
I love seeing Craig's work, even though this one's out of my period of interest. Some lucky person is going to get a beautiful and unique sword for a great price - you just can't beat a deal like this on the high-end custom market.

If you cave, then the rest of us at least get more awesome photos...
I for one would love to see a shoot with this piece and your custom German Bastard!
Cool Sword

Hi Doug

This one I only worked on a bit. It was one of my guys in the shop who had been to Koln on a trip not long ago and saw this sitting in a pile as a trophy of arms display and decided to do it as a training/study type project. It turned out really well and we decided it needed a good home :)

Best
Craig
Craig and co: another beautiful, beautiful piece! Having seen photos of the original, this version is very masterfully done. Great stuff!

Nathan: you crack me up ... but it looks like someone has answered your call.

It sure would be nice to see this piece photographed alongside your A&A custom Swiss Sabre and German Bastard Sword, though ... it would almost be like their lovechild, or a 'missing link' in sword evolution ... or something.

It pretty much looks like the offspring of those two swords!
You said it. ;)
