Does any one know of any surviving examples of plate arms, legs, elbows etc from this time period. I am trying to figure out a pattern for them. As far as I'm familiar with the topic, forms were indeed rather rare and simple then.
This whole topic has many pictures, most have dating included in them, even though language's horribly non english.

That one knight in one of the pictures has pretty much complete front part of the legs armored, quite advanced if that's a 13th century painting...
