The largest reduction in price for in-stock custom swords that he will ever do -- so if you want one, better grab it fast. This sale is for the next two weeks only.

He is running out of room to store them and has a bunch of new pieces in process, so he is willing to let these finished pieces go for well below his already reasonable custom sword prices.

Well, I finally caved!
I purchased the Lord Broadsword yesterday! I've been admiring it long enough, and no one had snatched it up yet, so I took it as an omen that it should be mine! Can't believe I'm about to own a Jody Samson sword! Big Grin Put it on layaway though, so it'll be three months before it gets shipped to me. Cry

That's a very sweet sword. Amazing that nobody bought it. It has been for sale so long. seems like it's the ones with skulls and horns on them that sell the quickest.

Yes, as I've mentioned elsewhere, that sword was there available amazingly long. I ofcourse would have changed that if I had the cash. But, failing that, I'm glad to see someone finally bought it. That one and the Warsword always caught my eye. And the Greenclaw would please me to. Ofcourse, I say that when there have been quite a number that have gone by that would please me. I imagine I'll never own any of them though. Just don't have the income to get it done... Sad

Contrats on the new blade, Glen. May be 3 months before you get it but I bet you'll be pleased. Happy

Ha! Funny you should say that, as one other one I very much liked was the one called "Skullwand," which coincidentally had a demon-skull pommel with horns on it!
But I was definitely attracted to the Lord Broadsword the minute I saw it, and was surprised to not see it go sooner.
When I finally get it, I will take pics and post, although I haven't handled enough quality swords yet to give a really informed opinion. Maybe I'll send it to Russ Ellis for a scabbard and he can write up a review for the site...

I purchased the Viking Leaf and I cannot wait to get it into my hand. It just stood out on the web page and called my name. I am kind of on the road for the next few days so It should be here next week some time. Thanks for the original post. Without the sale I never would have laid out that much for a sword because my wife would kill me after a period of torture.

Yes, that Viking Leafblade is also a very nice sword. Love the handle wrap on that one...

Well I caved as well. I had been admiring the sword that Glen scooped, and when I heard that the
sale had been continued my willpower snapped. I spoke with Mike today and ordered the
Carolingian sword. I'm doing the installment thing as well, so I should get it end of next month or so.
It's going to be a long wait.

Nice choice, Andy!
When we both have our swords, we should get together sometime. I personally wouldn't mind seeing another Jody sword in person, since it will probably be a long time till I can afford another one!

That sounds like an excellent idea. We should see who else would like to join us and show off a shiny,
pointy toy as well.

Definitely! We can talk about it after we get our swords. Mine won't be for a couple of months, but I will be posting when I receive it...
