Hanwei Taza Main Gauche
I have been eyeballing this dagger for a wile to go with my Spanish colonial officer impression from around 1710/1720...
Does anyone have seen this dagger in real or have any experience with something comparable from Hanwei?

My idea whas that Hanwei is a medium quality producer of weapons for a reasonable fair price... :) is that correct?

I would most like never use this dagger for any fighting, only for showing, and therefore don't really care if it's sharp or not. as long as it has no obvious thick edge or blob on the end of the blade...

so any opinions?
I had one and was quite pleased with it for the price. I can't really say anything negative, other than I would have preferred a longer blade.
Don't know if you care, Folkert, but Arma Bohemia offers a similar dagger, for a higher price, but with a longer blade :

Apparently it's a copy of a 16th c. original.
Thanks for the input guys!
And yes the Arma Bohemia one is also very nice and tempting!!
My wife owns the antiqued Taza rapier and it is a very pretty sword indeed (the antiquing really does it for this model). I've been planning to buy her the dagger as a present as well at some point as I'm sure it will look as great in real life as the rapier itself.
Good to hear, thanks!
