Thank you for keeping us posted on the developments of this project, Mr. Flynt. Sorry to see it will not be a langes messer, but I'm sure the falchion will be interesting to see also. Althought, I'm not sure I understand the configuration of the hilt construction you speak about, and the place of the rod? Could you please post pictures of the "insides", if possible? Well, it does not bode well about using this blade for a messer project...what about the blade from the Hanwei Dark Sentinel? It becomes very acute toward the tip, but...plausible?

Sean, Im really looking forward to see what you do here. I own his sword and it has it's flaws but on the whole I kind of like it. Im interested to hear it is so well put together. Tell me, how long to you plan on making the blade on the new falchion?
