Does anyone have any pictures of an archaeological example of the 'serpent in the steel' pattern? Here are modern examples by Jim Hrisoulas:
If you could also give me a source for your pictures, that would be great. I'd like to use them as reference photos in my paper The Mysticism of the Sword in Germanic Myth.
