For Sale: Chris Poor .. Arms & Armour Sword
This listing has been REMOVED and is no longer active

Folks, I have an Arms & Armour, 12th century sword w/ scabbard for sale. I bought this sword not too long ago, in hopes of using it as a display item . Unfortuntely, my Civil War collection has rendered not enough space for it. This sword cost $680 + 85 for the scabbard, for a total of $765. I do not have to sell this sword, but, I would like to try and sell it so that I can make room for other items. I am asking $625.00 for both the sword & scabbard together. Sword is in unused condition, having never been outside. Scvabbard is black leather, also made by Arms & Armour. Sorry..I do not have any pics, as I do not have a digital camera. please email me at legioxx2002@yahoo.com if interested.
Thanks,
Dave Long

This isn't a discussion forum, this is a sales forum. Make a topic in the off-topic forum starting a conversation about selling items on the Internet or something.

Very quickly without starting a conversation about it here:

Patience. I'ts all about timing. Those who've seen it and want it might not have the cash right now to pull the trigger on it. The more impatient you are about your sale, the more you're going to lose cash on it. More to the point, if a seller seems like a spazz and is overly eager about dumping the product or is strong-armed in his tactics, it will scare potential buyers away. Also, if a seller seems desperate about sellling, that means he's giving the impression he'll unload the piece at a rock-bottom price. This isn't typically the impression a seller wants to give.

There are a lot of reasons an item sells and often it's just a spur of the moment impulse thing to buy something. Timing is everything.

End of discussion about this here.
