I would like to introduce everyone to the work of Robert Môc, another excellent swordsmith from the Slovak Republic. I know that he has been mentioned on this forum before, but I don't think that his early medieval swords have been shown here. You can find his website here:

Some darn nice looking work in his gallery.

Sure seems like the Czech Republic is emerging as a creative epicenter for medieval arms and armour reproduction. It just seems like there is a wellspring of specialized concentrated talent there. Something unlike almost anyplace else.

I have a sword that Robert Moc made and a commission "in progress" with him. He is a pleasure to deal with and his quality is outstanding. Although his site isn't in English, he seems to be able to read and write English emails just fine. My commission should be done before the year is over and I will post pics. Overall, working with him has been a positive experience and I look forward to doing more business with him!

I just had a mail 10minutes ago from Robert,cause i ask himtoreproduce the blued hilt rapier in his site,cost are high,but at least youndo not tonwait 2 years.
A rapier,asthe one you mentioned done for LASKY with eagles heads,is around 3-4000 euros,the one i asked him,that is the only blued in is site,willbe 3000 euos,delivery in 6-8 months.
He does rapier that could fit a real renaissance prince,this with no doubt,it is a real work of art,i would say,as an art abject,to me,better then BARTA,wich isas well,too busy.
Re. Cech and Slovachian,ARMOURERS,they not comin now,bu is always been so,is into they roots,and it is great,only poblem,is that,some of them,not answer,many they wok for sombody else as ARMA BOHEMIA.
You have a very wide choice,if anybody,want to know more,can go to WWW.HISTORICKE FIRMY,and there can ind all of them.But is in Cech,anyway,SWORD is MECE,RAPIERis RAPIRY,and so on,not difficult to ealise,for anyone.
