I got myself a falchion at the Herstmonceux festival this year but I don't remember the name of the guy who made it. Anybody have any ideas as to who it is?

If a tree falls in a forest, but nobody hears it, did it make a sound? ...And if a man voices his opinion in a forest, but no woman hears it, is he still wrong?

I don't think so, the swords look very different, the guy who sold it to me said it was a czech guy I think.

It looks blunt to me. Is it for stage combat?
In any event the overall feel I'm getting from that thing is these guys: http://www.kultofathena.com/bks.asp, Baltimore Knife and Sword. They make a lot of custom stage combat weapons. 'Course they don't fit the description of "a czech guy".

Nope, it's for reenactment. Don't think so, guy who sold it to me did say his name and his initals are VH. He may not even have a website thinking about it. Thanks anyway.

Yeah, they do look pretty similar, but someone else had one of his swords at Herstmonceux and it bore the same mark as mine does. I don't know if he makes all of his swords with his mark on them but I guess he would.

Bingo thanks! Mine doesn't seem a bad sword and so far I'm happy with it, but it hasn't had any serious fighting yet so I shall have to find out.
