Hi All,

Here's a picture of a Tomahawk (reproduced in the F&I era) made by a friend of mine. Since there had been discussion about these types of weapons, I thought that it be appropriate to post his hawk here.

The maker is Mark Thomas, Shenandoah Valley, Virgina and it has the original 13 colonies depicted on the snake that wraps around the handle. FYI This hawk sold for $1500.00.

Enjoy,

Jeff Larsen Happy

Gorgeous! I'm a fan of trade arms, and that one would look right at home in a museum case (or on a shelf in my house!). I've often considered getting a head and a nice stick of maple and seeing what I could come up with.

As I mentioned on Axe forum the edge attachment is a point of worry, and that it looks to be made of brass with the steel edge...H&B sell these on their own, is this one mounted up? they're typically no user friendly, have a habit of failing.

love the looks of it and the hafting, I just couldnt count on something like that Happy
