Hi fellow forumites,
I am interested in books about european armor. Since I am now quite familiar with the armor of the 12th to 13th century, I now want to explore the following centuries, with the focus on the 14th and 15th century. I am looking for a book with lots of photos of historic armor parts or period depictions, not modern paintings like in some of the ospreys. Which books can you suggest?
Thanks in advance,
Thomas

Please check out our Feature articles on books as well as all the reviews in our Bookstore section. They are good starting points.
For example, here are my 138 reviews on books on arms, armour, period art, and history: http://www.myArmoury.com/books/reviews.php?mode=user&u=11
Blair's European Armour is a must-have, though it is getting dated.
