For any other man's,
Nor that I will be ashamed

For I have chosen the path I tread
Knowing it would be steep,
And I will take the joys thereof
And the consequences reap.

Also, this piece will be featured in a article that I wrote on Ben in the next issue of Pirates Magazine. Its a nice 3 page spread on Ben as a maker and features a review of this sword with some nice close ups. The issue will be available in about 10-15 days @ www.PiratesMagazine.com or at your local Barnes and Noble or Borders.
The current issue features an article on Kevin Cashen and his work. Look for "Blades of the Brethren". Thats my column.
If you want this sword I would get it while you can. As soon as the magazine hits news stands it will be sold!
Cheers,

The window of opportunity has, alas, closed and this piece will be once again ascending to it's rightful price.

I generally don't go ga-ga for anything later than the 16th C, and not a longsword. But I have to admit-- this cutlass is absolutely gorgeous. I really love the detail of the shell guard. The blade looks nicely-proportioned, too.
