This looks to be another fine product from Freelance Academy Press.

Not much willpower needed as I only have to wait until the 18th of this month ...... 4 days of will or rather won't power. Wink Razz Big Grin Cool

Jean,

As long as you go through the shopping cart, it will automatically calculate the shipping costs. No problems with PayPal and USPS is our preferred method of shipping. So, come the 18th, have at!

Pamela - yes, but look at it this way - your DVD will be there imminently! Wink

Great the easier you make it to spend money the better and thanks for the reply.

I may have to be careful about my spending for a while but good books and/or DVDs aren't exactly like commitimg to a big custom project or buying a new Albion. Wink

Good reference books/DVDs are also something of durable value and pleasure as one goes back to them over and over again and high up in my priority list.

I hope everyone will enjoy this video; specifically for martial artists, I designed the DVD menus to allow you to select a specific technique from a list, play that one section, then return you to the menu. This way when you feel like somethings not working right, you can take a quick look at it without having to fast forward or re-watch the entire program.

And as I mentioned on FB, the more people buy, the sooner we can make more! Big Grin

Wow I feel stupid- I've been trying to get a figure for shipping to NZ and it calculates it on the cart... D'oh!

From ordering to shipping notification in 5 hours - can't get much better than that!

I am really looking forward to this arriving - I have long enjoyed Christian's written work and the trailers for the DVD look like quality all round. I hope this DVD helps to fuel a growing appreciation of poleaxes and their use.

Neil.

I just watched it and I have to say, it's an excellent product. The production quality is professional and the content is superb. I've been looking forward to this since I heard it was in production as a poleaxe "cheat sheet" for quick reference for some of the more obscure techniques we don't regularly practice. Much of our work with poleaxe is derived from longsword rather than interpreted from the various pictorial sources, and it seems like every time we spend a day or two working with a particular manuscript to work through the plays, we forget it almost as quickly as we figure it out (just not enough time!) This DVD is a valuable resource for the martial artist with limited time.

With this endorsement I'm looking forward even more to a couple days from now when I place my order for the DVD and the 2 books currently in print. Wink Big Grin Cool

I also understand that when a new technique is tried out, and is somewhat complex or dependant on subtle geometry and or timing, that one tends to fall back on the familiar if the new technique isn't practised often.

At times some of it sticks in memory but at other times one remembers the general flow of the thing but weeks or months later one forgets important things like " how do I get from here to there " when one remembers the beginning and the end of the action but forgets some important middle part. My DVD arrived about an hour ago. Unfortunately, I probably won't have time to watch it today. Can hardly wait though!

The Links seem to work for me now, but I found that lately there seem to be a lot of local Internet Service Provider Outages, so if it doesn't work when you try, and you are sure you have the correct address, just try it a few hours or days later.

My Internet connection keeps being cut off since late August and it seems that my service provider is the most likely cause ....
very frustrating when the customer service people don't have any answers or blame the problem as being on the customer's end ! Yes it can happen that a modem goes bad or account files may have become corrupted, but if one hasn't changed anything and the Internet connection works fine for many hours then suddenly fails it's highly probable that it's at the Service provider's end .....

Sorry for the off Topic rant. Wink Sad But on Topic to your post, your Links are working so try them again. Wink
