Here's what just arrived to my door. Fully customised VA Signature Crusader type XII sword. This is not the regular release, the production swords didn't come out yet. However, the guys at Valiant Armoury decided, that they are going to release a few customised ones, prior to the regular release and this is one of them, actually the first one.
The customisation was done by Valiant Armoury Custom sword shoppe. Mr. Sonny is a great guy, he listened to my ideas and came spot on to what I had in mind. I ordered a different style of suspension, different color sheme, trilanguar rainguard and slight aging of the sword. The colors of the leather are reddish brown for the scabbard and sword grip and dark brown for the suspension system and belt. I think this adds to the overall combat worn look of the sword.
The sword itself is for me personaly a masterpiece, very light, quick, agile and sharp. I don't personally like this type of blade, I prefer wider blades, as they are more imposing. I think this one would have been even better if it had a slightly wider and pointier blade, but that's just my personal opinion. But still it's very nice and I like it anyway.
The customisation was done in a matter of days and the price was incredible for the sword & scabbard and full customisation. The quality of work in relation with the price point is incredible and cannot be beaten. This is THE BEST you can get in this price range, no doubt about it.

So let's see what's in the box... I've taken several shots of the sword next to my CSS customised Hanvei Tinker Norman.

They both look very impressive. Sonny is definitly doing some work that is suprisingly nice in photos especially given the price points I see online.
