Newly arrived AT "light" 1320 XII
I know a number of folks don't get elsewhere, so thought you would like to see my "new" baby ,a AT1320 light single handed XII. And light is an understatement! most blades drag on my wrist, but this! The balance is beautiful! Gus has named it the "Lady Sue" and I am honoured beyond measure.

And here with it's big sister the forerunner of the AT1313.

Nice Blade!
"Lady Sue" I like her simple straight forward looks .easy to handle.
the blade has good lines. well balanced( a rare thing in most women i know that I am not married to) over all I would say you have a blade most men of worth would be proud to be seen with(like the woman I am married to)
Very nice! What's the weight on that? The AllSaints page doesn't have that posted yet.

Any particular reason you went with the "normal" bow tie guard instead of the beaked one that apparently is the standard for this model?
Very nice, Susan .... congratulations !

May the Lady serve ye well, Mac

With regards to the bowtie... personal taste, Gus' *g* no, really this sword was made a while ago even though it has just got to me... and the bow tie was the hilt that was put with it at that time... I think it suits the blade well..

Weight ;I don't have a balance scales which would be better, but on the kitchen ones its 1lb 11 oz....

The blade does feel light, might be too light for some, but the balance and handling are good. I know Chris Webb wanted to take this lady back home with him and he has handled a lot of Gus' work... If we don't haver any storms this evening I intend to do a bit of cutting with it...
Mac, Patrick, thank-you

And Scott if you read this in answer to your question elsewhere.... I love the feel of my sword. The length is just right! ;) :p
lovely sword susan. but i love all type type XII, there just something about that broad blade tapering to bit of a point that really appeals to me.
Hi Susan
Looks good. Bit light for my taste, but that is the type where Gus excels. Did you get it through Countercut?

Yes, through Chris, he brought it up on Tuesday.... He is I believe going to be at the event at Royal Gunpowder Mills in a couple of weeks... I am too, bringing both ladies along as well...
Now that looks like a no-nonsense bit 'o' steel. Might I ask if the blade is hollow groundjust the tiniest bit? Or is it a trick of the light across the blade from edge to fuller in front of the bowtie cross (a fav type of mine BTW)?
