Dear all,
I would hereby like to announce the founding of the School voor Historische Schermkunsten (SHS – School for Historical Fencing Arts). This new school is, to the best of my knowledge, the first school in the Netherlands to focus on 17th century rapier fencing. Our main source for this is Bruchius’s “Scherm- ofte Wapen-Konste” (“Fencing- or Weapon-Art”). More information about the School for Historical Fencing Arts can be found on www.bruchius.com or www.rapierschermen.nl .
With kind regard,
Reinier van Noort

Reinier,
Congratulations on your new school. I hope you don't mind that I've put it on the HEMA Map under "Dutch Study" (see link below):

"Rise up, O Lord, and may thy enemies be dispersed and those who hate thee be driven from thy face."
