Hello All,

I just wanted to show you my new little beauty, made by Tod´s Stuff. It was delivered two or three months ago, but I just did not find the time to take pictures, and I have to apologize for the quality of those I took.
Tod really did a great job. I wanted something close to Chad Arnow´s bronze hilted rondel dagger, but not a one-to-one copy. The grip is olive wood, fhe rondels are bronze, as is the loop on the upper rondel, a detail I find exceedingly attractive.
The dagger feels lively but still very strong, probably due to its heavy blade. I was not aware that balance can be of so much value in a "short bladed" knife (blade length aproximately 32 cm, overall length 43 cm, PoB 3 cm from lower rondel).
I hope the pictures are displayed correctly as this is my first post, though not my first dagger.

That's quite nice. I always look forward to seeing things from Tod. The olive wood is a nice touch and something I'll have to use in a future project. Very nice scabbard, too!

Very nice. :) It's weird to think that people are somehow influenced by my collection. Very weird, but kinda cool too.

I like this dagger a lot. The loop in the upper rondel looks even sturdier than mine which has been bent once or twice already.

Really, really nice piece. I love the olive wood, something about the grain and color of it is classy. Another great piece from Tod!!!

Chad, please take it as a compliment on your taste that I had some kind of brother of your dagger replikated :) . I guess something like this could have happend 600 years ago, someone admiring a dagger on the belt of some nobleman and asking a skilled knifemaker to reproduce a similar weapon.
