SWASH 2010 (UK event)
Hi all,

Just thought I'd drop a post about the SWASH event organised by the British Federation for Historic Swordplay. It's now open for booking and full details can be found at http://www.swash2010.com/. But, in short:

SWASH
Leeds Royal Armouries
Saturday 20th & Sunday 21st, 2010
Swords, talks, training, formal dinner, drink. There's also talk of some informal stuff on the Friday afternoon / evening.

Apologies to the Fed itself for not being a good advertiser :)

Perhaps it's worth pointing out that it's in February, too :)
Answer version 1: There was this industrial blacksmith who used to very carefully write "OT" in large letters on the floor or bench. Then he would put the metal he had been working on in the "O". Everyone who passed would look at the metal and look at the writing - then come to tell him he'd spelt "hot" wrong. He used to laugh and say "Aye, but you didn't touch it, did yer?" I assum you looked to find out ;)

Answer version 2: Yes. I forgot that bit - sorry! ;)
