Just ordered it. The price is very good, and it never hurts to have some additional reference material.

I got the Canaan book yesterday and am quite pleased. It does cover a wide range of topics so it does not have a lot of detail on any of them but it is certainly a good value. I especially enjoyed the section on firearms. I recommend it.

Yes, I probably sounded too critical of the Canaan book. It is perfectly good for what it is, as long as you know what to expect. I was disappointed because I was expecting a lot of details whereas this is the book is instead a nice introductory overview.
