Hey,
I know they stopped making this, but I REALLY want one, and I was wondering if anyone owned one and if they liked it or not, because I'm considering scouring the internet to find one. It doesn't seem completely historical, more of a fantasy blade, which appeals to me. If anybody has any experience with this blade, let me know how you like it, because it's high on my list of things to get.
Thanks!
Nathan.

Do you mean the all-metal one with integral handle? If so, it's not a fantasy piece, but is based off things like this:

Yeah, that's the one. It's not quite like the one in the photo you posted, but similar, wider. Ritter Steel makes one that looks like the one in that photo, but I'm doubtful of their quality and the design doesn't interest me as much as the Windlass one. I recently saw "Stardust", and fell in love with Tristan's sword, and I remembered seeing a Windlass blade that looked like that one, only simpler. Do you know of any place that might still sell it?
Nathan.

Tristan's sword has nothing to do with a Dussack or any other European arm. It is heavily based upon Afghan Khyber knife with a military-style hilt.

Just for comparison's (and Nathan's) sake, here's what the Windlass dussack looked like:
MRL introduced these in June of 2005, they were discontinued and sold out in March of 2007.
(no, I don't have any - they were discontinued so suddenly that I didn't manage to keep one for myself)

Thanks Hal,
That's exactly what I'm looking for, it's too bad you don't have an extra one lying around, I would buy it immediately! Do you know of anyone who might still have one?
Nathan.

The last time I was in the Museum Replicas showroom there were two or three of these sitting on the clearance table. They may be gone by now, but it is probably worth a call to check.
