I have the great privilege of owning my first, of hopefully many, OlliN swords. It is a custom piece that Mark had a field day with. Its not based off of any particular piece but an idea that Mark had to do a falchion styled piece.

Well, to say the OlliN team out did themselves would be a gross understatement.

Close up of the Handle:

The tip, plus a wonderful glare:

The whole shebang:

And the package as a whole:

It feels amazing in the hand. Its big. Its mean. Its a definite cutter. I did a test cut on a honeydew melon and had to take a second look at the thing because I didn't even fell the sword go through it. It takes a lot to knock me speechless, and when I held this in my hand for the first time, I completely was.

Stats:

Weight - 3lbs
Length (Blade) - 33.25"
Length (Overall) - 39.25"
Thickness - .25"
PoB - 5"

Just a thank you, thank you, thank you to OlliN for everything they are doing for the sword community. A vendor that puts customer service first is rare in today's market place and the commitment that OlliN is showing to its ideals and its customers should be praised.

Hey, Chris, as a relatively new owner of an OlliNSword creation myself, you
just gotta love the respect and care they show with the product they provide. You
couldn't ask for better packaging, and the paperwork is an aesthetic touch that
renders the creating of your sword as more than just a mere tool of the trade ...

And THAT'S just the packaging and little details ! If your blade shines with some of
the same " personality " as mine, you know you have a solidly constructed one-of-
a-kind family heirloom that won't be easy to part with.

Congratulations !!!

That is the business. Looks a bit of a monster, but absolutely beautiful. Ever time I see something new from Ollin I curse the day that I had to cancel my order with them. I am going to have to get back in touch with them, hopefully sooner rather than later.

Great sword,
Darrin.

That's a beautiful piece. I'd quite like to own that, frankly, so I have to give you a big congratulations!

Congratulations, Chris! It's a great looking sword. I really like falchions, and I'm sure you're just as happy as the day I got my Vassal. Will this become a part of your kit at Bristol? Hope you bring it with you to show off, at the least! I'll be there opening weekend again, as usual - hope to see you and your family there.

Best regards,

Christopher

No surprise that OlliN has done a great job at a sword! They are truly top notch-the very best! This piece looks to be no exception! It is gorgeous. I'm green with envy right now. I love that pommel, it looks slightly offset or do my eyes deceive me? Great cross too, and the blade.....magnificent. Just a breathtaking piece. Kudos to OlliN for their continued excellence and congratulations to you Chris for owning a damn fine falchion!!!!!

It is a great big bucket of awesome. It is large, but not unweidly. Definately has a 'presence' about itself. The reverse edge is wickedly done, Mark captured something special with this one.

My understanding is that this will eventually become part of their production line, so get your checkbook out Nathan! Happy

For those in the area, I will have it down at the Bristol Renaissance Faire on display as well. If you come to the show, come down to the military encampment and ask for me. I'll be happy to show you the piece!

Hey Chris,

That's beautiful! I makes me want a falchion at some point and that says something as I rarely move outside of my time period.

A hearty thanks you for sharing!

Congratulations Chris! That is a great looking falchion you have there. It is also pretty cool news to hear that it will be available as a standard offering. I wish I was coming up to Bristol this year but it does not look like it will be in the budget. Hopefully you will have it around next year for me to look at

I have to congratulate Mark and Matt on another great looking product.
