Hello everyone,
Introducing my latest scabbard, and as usual commentary is very welcome! Also, more images can be seen on my website.

Your work is continuing to get better. Everything seems to be tighter in the photos and the move, or at least recent string, of more metal chapes is very nice.

You seem to be pumping these out at an astoundingly brisk rate, and each seems better than the last. Whenever I see a new thread featuring one of your scabbards, I know I'm in for a visual treat (and a bout of empty-wallet gloom).  I like this one in particular -- elegantly simple.

Another extremely classy piece of work, Sir. Handsome, simple, and sharp. I'm not
really a fan of The Constable, but have to admit your scabbard for the sword
gives it that something extra. I specially like the color scheme of the rigging against
the scabbard.

I like to offer both metal chapes & leather chapes. The leather allows for a cheaper, yet detailed option. In many cases the leather chape looks quite appropriate.

Once I start a scabbard it usually takes me one to two weeks, unless we're talking about a highly detailed & researched scabbard like the Gotland I did recently.

Really like this one Brian, as well as the last one you posted in here.
Plain and beautifull scabbard, fits an Albion sword beautifully (as remarquable as they are, Albion swords are after all very plain and serviceable looking swords, especially as far as their hilts are concerned, and I find a simple scabbard just works best for them...).
Are you making the steel shape yourself? (I seem to recall you mentionning that someone was doing it for you in an earlier post). Would you have a picture of the back of the scabbard?

Thanks Julien. Everytime I complete a scabbard I say to myself "this is my new favorite", with this one being no exception.
The chapes are made in-house. I can arrange a picture of the back of the scabbard this evening for everyone to see.

It does look great, and fits my personal preferences regarding subtle and "obviously very well crafted", while not being gaudy.
Is the chape a single piece?
Absence of evidence is not necessarily evidence of absence!
