The carvings on the grip are amazing, awsome work on the whole peice!
It's just beautiful! The carvings on the grip are great. Any chance for some close ups of the grip carving?
Looks great. I like what you did on the guard. The carving looks spectacular also of course.
Now that's a knife! Heck, its almost a sword as well.
Beautiful! I love the grip, the guard, everything! Is she going to be for sale? :surprised:
Thanks for all the kind words.

I'lll see about getting some close-ups of the carving.

This one was done as a commission, so it is spoken for.

Thanks again,
Ben

Hello Ben,

Your carving on the African Blackwood handle is of an outstanding workmanship.
I wish you can post a close up picture.

Keep up the good work.
Thanks,

Here are some closeups of the carving.
Enjoy.

That's really superb, Ben. Ever thought about lengthening the blade a bit and giving one a full sized pommel, it would pretty much be a fantastic single edged viking sword.
That is really top notch work. The carving is just gorgeous! Thanks for posting up these detail photos, it's a pleasure to see work this nice! I look forward to seeing more of your excellent work!
Very crisp lines, both in haut and bas reliefs.

That's the work of a master carver.

Bravo !
Absolutely beautiful. I have wanted a seax, but have not seen one that has captured what I had in mind. This one is perfect!!
