You can rely on getting their products if you order, but their quality is pretty crappy - much lower than some of the larger off-shore sword manufacturers that have some sembalance of a QC department. In the same price range (if you select the tempered option), you can get a decent Windlass, Hanwei, or Valiant.

man that sucks. all the sites that have the best sounding stuff always have the lowest quality items or aren't reliable.

in that case could someone tell me where i might be able to get these two items,

http://www.strongblade.com/prod/sbmu-ac-extensiondagger.html

http://www.strongblade.com/prod/sbmu-ac-harnessblade.html

made of the same materials, and preferably with the sharpening option so i don't have to try and do it myself. i've looked around a little and haven't been able to find anything this good, there was one version of the extension knife on kult of athena but in the pic it looked like it had no point.

thanks for the help

Well you know man this is all just my opinion so please add salt. If your looking for a costume piece to walk around faire with then your in good shape. However, if you want a sword then I'd stay far away from this type of stuff. It is after all based on a video game and I'd be very suspect of their tempering process. If I were you I'd save my beans and start with a nicer Windlass or those new Valiant Signature lines. The first in the series can be had herehttp://www.kultofathena.com/product~item~CF401~name~Valiant+Armoury+Castile+Sword+Signature+Edition.htm
And if you shoot over here....http://www.christianfletcher.com/Christian_Fletcher/Valiant_Armoury_Swords/Pages/Castile.html
You can see some pictures of the prototypes. Having sen the production piece I'm thinking of picking one up myself.

Ohm, since windlass has the official rights to these items, unless Strongblade is selling knockoffs then you'll be getting the exact same items from KOA. Also since windlass typically doesn't sharpen their items, the Strongblade ones were most likely sharpened in shop (thus the pointless shot on Koa is probably how they come from the manufacturer).
I'm afraid i don't have any experience with Strongblade's sharpening service, so others may have to weigh in there.
As far as quality, Windlass is sometimes somewhat of a crap shoot....but I believe typically better than Stongblades's in-house products. Good luck with your quest,
Dan

If you look closely at Kult of Athena's image (the large version is here), you'll see that it's very low quality--it appears to be a cut-and-pasted version of a low-resolution digital image, although it could be a scan of a printed image. In either case, the missing point is almost certainly an artifact, and not an accurate representation of the object. While Windlass products can have their faults, I've never encountered one that failed to be sufficiently pointy. Indeed, some have struck me as too sharp at the tip, and to be accurate should have had blunter, more rounded points.

I hope that this proves helpful.

Best,

Here you go,

(Windlass is their parent company)
Hope this helps,
