I was wondering about the jaw bone visor helm, when worn, did it need a bevor? The Sallet helmets i have seen personally have all had bevors with them. Which one would be better used in battle?

You can ignore my previous comparison I had the Jaw bone visiored helmet mixed up with another helmet
I took a look for Jaw bones on different websites they are just visored sallets the name "Jaw Bone" is probably
a buzz word coined to make it sound more impressive

you'll need to get a bevor for neck protection although I think you could get away with a mail coif as mail was still
in use during the 15th century personally I'd prefere it for a reinactment as bevors restrict neck movement and breathing
aternitavly you could wear a barbute helmet they protected the neck with out restricting movement and breathing
as well as alowing for better visibility
