I need some help. I am trying to find pictures of rapier cases. Not "case", a rapier in each hand, case as in a box. Trying to make one. Any help and/or pictures would be appreciated.

The reason for a box is that everything I need, cleaning equipment, gloves, buckler, dagger, etc. would be put IN the box when I'm going out and about to play. There's also the public thing to worry about. Gun cases aren't a problem, and that is what THIS would be. Any help would be grand. Thanks in advance.

If you live in the US Cabela's, Natchez, or MidwayUSA all have good deals on fairly inexpensive rifle cases. Shouldn't be a problem to cut out the foam as you want for a custom fit to your kit. If you think you'll need more room, you can even go up to a double rifle case, all for under $30.

Honestly I'd just go check your local sporting goods store and see what they have on sale. It's getting about that time of year so there will be a lot of sales to lure hunters in.

Several SCAdian fencers I know use golf bags for carrying rapiers about. A large golf bag with wheels will carry about two swords, a dagger or two, gloves, and cleaning kit. (Not so sure about the buckler, though you could always strap it to the outside.)

One of the Dons in my rapier group has made a wooden frame for his kit bag to keep things from rattling about and keep the weaponry from shredding the bag; I will ask him if he's got (or could take) some photos of his kit bag that you could use for reference.
