A friend of mine has a couple German daggers that he's trying to appraise, and I was wondering if anyone here could help out.

I have identified them as an 'SA' dagger, and a '1921 Pattern Naval Dagger,' tho I was not able to find a naval dagger that had the etching on the blade.

Below are links to a few of the pictures, and I can provide more if needed.

And for the naval dagger:

Thanks in advance for any insights that you might be able to get me on these.

You wouldn't happen to be in the Houston area would you?

The naval dagger reminded me of an item I saw on the Collector's Firearms website within the last couple of weeks, and they've frequently had SA daggers. I checked the site and they are no longer listed, but I know that they deal in this type of merchandise regularly (meaning, I've seen examples come up at least three or four times over the last year, and the lot with examples similar to your friend's appeared with 10 to15 similar pieces). Could be worth an e-mail or a call.

No, not near Houston. I'm actually in Nevada.

Thanks for the link, I'll check it out.
