I'm looking for a good quality, but fairly cheap, Messer. But, I don't want it any longer then 30" and would prefer ~28". I don't realy have the money for one, but I'm wanting too save up for one and was hoping too find one so I can set it as a goal. My Price range would be $500 and less.

I think the closest you are going to find is with Arma Bohemia. Its 76 cm which is just under 30" and
is priced at 341 Euro which is about $540.00 USD. If you are lucky the USD will go up before you buy one.

Another option would be to go custom. Contact Jan Chodkiewicz. You'll have to e-mail him for pricing. I found his pricing quite reasonable. Of course you'll have to be patient with a custom project.
