Medieval Axe with marks
Not long ago I had got a nice piece - 15.th century axe with 4 marks - two is in shield shape with cross, rest of next one is a some cross and the last is obscure.
It is 27 cm long, width of edge is 17 cm and comes from Central Europe.

could the obscure mark be that of an animal?
Looks a little like a simplified aegishjalmur (which is a germanic symbol), which might be appropriate for a bearded axe like that. Search the word on google images and you'll see plenty with eight branches and a few with four, like that mark.
