|
|
I am sure many of us remember the tantalizing photos from Peter Finer catalogs that have appeared from time to time here on myArmoury. I just received my order form for their latest catalog (their 8th). Apparently it will be ready to ship in early December and will cost 120 USD/60 GBP. I could not find ordering information on their website, but it may be possible to email them and order a catalog. Peter Finer catalogs are like no other—they are works of art in and of themselves, and feature some of the best photography and descriptions of individual items, IMO.

That figures, since I just "completed" my set of their catalogues recently. Now I guess I have to buy the new one.

To my knowledge, this is their first one in a few years. I do not have the complete collection, but I probably won't be able to pass-up this one. It is also worth noting that Peter Finer will be at the New York Winter Antiques Show. I am not sure of the price of admission, but I imagine it may be well worth it to see some of their pieces in person!

The last catalogue was 2005. I think it goes: 1995, 1996, 1997, 1999, 2001, 2003, 2005 and now 2007. The first two, I believe, were only available in paperback. The rest I think may only be hardcover, though I'm not sure. Some years are hard to find and more expensive than the rest.

I've sent two messages to Peter Finer through their website, inquiring about buying the new catalogue. I've yet to hear back. Anyone had any luck contacting them through the website?

I have not tried to contact them yet, but they do have a 24 hour 1-800 number for the US and Canada.

I finally found a used copy of this one via AbeBooks.
I think PF wanted 60 pounds for it. I paid less than that.
