In my latest project "pimp my armour" - I have turned my eyes over to the possibility of attaching Fancy Stuff™ on my Bascinet from Best Armour.
I have tried to search the forum and read the feature on the bascinet, but I`ve come up with less to nothing.
Does anyone know of any historical evidence of people attaching things like this on their helmets? My titimeperiods 1397-1412, so it would be nice to keep it there.

You could add brass accents to it. I do not remember any feathers on any bascients though a few decorated rolls perhaps along the brow with fabric tails.

I'll bump this thread.
I think about to do the same as Christoffer wanted to do with his helmet.
Anybody else who have found an illumination or picture of a crest/feathers for a bascinet? Year 1380-1410?
