I am new to central CA (Monterey County) having come from Georgia and would like to know of any local sword resources eg. museum exhibits etc anywhere in central CA. Any help would be appreciated.

Hey Allen, welcome to the 831! We dont have anything here dealing with swords or exhibits of swords... The only place that sells new stuff like PC and CS along with a few antiques is over in Moss Landing at J&S Surplus & Outdoor Supply and they are pretty cool... Carmel Cutlery has the custom knives and wall hanger swords and if Tom Maringer ever gets back into making his swords I hope they sell them there like they use to...Pacific Grove has a big antique store (forget the name) that has a few antique swords...that's about it

Thanks Ben! I was also thinking farther afield. I have vague memories of people discussing sword exhibits around San Francisco a few years ago but had dismissed them at the time as I had no way of going.
