English Civil War - OBSCURAGRAPHS
These do not seem to be a hoax. I cannot wait to see more of them.

So does anyone else get that odd and eerie gut level feeling when viewing the pictures?
I do not have good feeling about these pictures. At first sight they seem modern pictures made to look old and poor in quality.
Not a very good job at that either.

Maybe I am just too skeptical........And I have to include a disclaimer: I am not a professional photographer!!!!!

ahhh... wonderful reenactor photos :D I have an urge to zoom in and look for hiking boots and other farby items :D
My gut level feeling is that they look awfully good to be that old. However I know NOTHING about photograph, its history, or reenacting for that matter.

agreed...these have a very high level of clarity, also if any of you have used a pinhole camera as a scout or science project, you would notice motion blurs of people moving as a result of the exposure time needed
[ Linked Image ] "Hold still lads!" :p

or the ever popular:
[ Linked Image ]
...or as I like to call it "3 accountants/weekend warriors posing like they are grisled vets of the english civil war"
It might be a good idea to keep today's date in mind, hmmm :p

True, very true, but if so, it's the best April Fool's joke I've seen today :D Still, I've seen this done before with American Civil War photos, ya never know ;)

Ah, even better is this one: [ Linked Image ] :D "hey guys, there's a camera! Let's pose!"
