Hi all,

I'm new here, hope someone can help me out. I would like to purchase this sword:

http://www.reliks.com/merchant.ihtml?pid=2020

I have read an interesting review made by Lance Chan. This was really helpful. I am interested learning as much as possible regarding this sword... so any more comments/reviews/thoughts will be appreciated.

Many thanks!

Hi Lance-

I don't know anything about that particular sword, but I've removed my useless comments from this topic to clear out the less-than-helpful attempts at being helpful. Carry on Happy

Hmm... as of today, the sword's grip had begun to worn off with the leather peeled after months of usage. I'll have to re-grip it for my student in a foreseeable future. The sword is stiffer than the 15th century longsword, thus it can carry out cutting that involved other motions beforehand a bit better, such as a hanging counter, or cutting from ochs guard. However, it's also quite forward balanced. Long, and with a hilt that's not that long. So maneuverability isn't as good as the 15th century longsword. What else do you want to know, Van? Happy
