New seax made!
I made this seax this morning. Just wanted to share it with you guys. It is sooooooo fun to forge stuff. I have a very long thin seax in prosess. Will take a few pics of it later on this weekend and post them for you.

wonderful i love the look of it it look like primitive and i love it like that :D .
Looks like it would make a nice utility knife with a rustic finish.

Did you heat treat it ? Nice if you did and you get it nice and sharp: A real knife using knife should be very sharp.

Looking forward to seeing the next one. :D

Yepp I did. Didn´t have any lensseed oil though so I have to reheat it for that later. I´m still just in the beginning of my career as a hobbie smith so time will tell if i get any good. The other knife is harder to do, because of its length. Its going to be aprox 70 cm long and my forge is an old army issue fieldforge so it is somewhat tricky.
