I have a chance of smithing a viking sword, my blade is rough now so I need info on the blade geometry of such swords to continue.

I need to know:

1. how thick is the spine of the blade (the unsharpened one)
2. if there is a distal taper
3. if they are all fullered or not, the example I have attached is fullered but the pic isn’t clear
4. weight and length of average specimens
5. point of balance


Just that … happy holidays to anybody who can take his own.
