I have been drooling over this sword every since it was first posted as a drawing...
when the first pics of the prototype were published, i wanted it even more...
THEN i finally got to handle it at Blade show and fell in love with it...
im just curious... i havent heard anything from any owners.... just looking for opinions (maybe pics?)

I don't have it, but my Celtic heritage says "yum."
I must note however, I am curious as to how so many ounces were added onto the Chieftan's weight in comparison to the Duke. Perhaps the extended quillons?

i can tell ya that it handled sweet as he!!....
albions blades have a very unique feel about them, and this one is no exception...
its VERY broad at the tip.... nothing about this says "Thrust" althought i wouldnt wanta be on the receiving end of a thrust from this sword....
however it seems like a mean cutter....

pardon the dork holding it, but this is the only pic i have of the chieftain model Albion had at blade show
it was really nice
it had BROWNED fittings and brown leather grip wrap..... the leather was nearly the same color as the steel, which gave a really amazing appearnce, one ive never considered, but will defianntly select when and if i can ever order one of thse...
