I have moved this topic to the Off-topic Talk forum.
Please note the description for this forum:
"Discussions of general history and other miscellaneous topics relating to arms and armour that do not specifically fit our other forums"
Since this is not your sale, and merely a link to someone else's it's not appropriate in the Marketplace. Please note that the link doesn't work either.
Thank you.
EDIT: here's the correct link: http://livinghistory.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=9463

I keep going in circles trying to see a picture of the sword. And, of course, the seller does not have an email address.

Ok, I give up, what do you have to do to see the pictures of this sword?

Removed offending post.

Jeff,
If you read my post and the Marketplace rules, you'll see it doesn't belong there:
1) It's a link to a sale elsewhere
2) the poster is not even the seller
If you ever have any questions about things like this, ask a Moderator directly. Thanks!

Guys,
If you have any questions or want pics, please go directly to the source and ask for them. The post here is second hand info.
Thanks!

Hi
Hugh - and others,
My apologies - since this topic was moved by the moderators, I have not received any 'topic reply' emails in my inbox, so I wasn't aware of the picture problem - I hope to remedy this now, by adding the pictures that Johnathan has supplied- though they appear to be stock photos. I have forwarded several PMs people have sent to me about this sword, so I guess it is up to Johnathan now to get back to the interested parties.
Regards, Frances

Moving a topic has nothing to do with whether reply emails are received.

Wow...
I'm not going to ask what sort of financial hardship would prompt someone to sell such an exquisite piece of craftsmanship...
Anyway, best of luck with the sale. I'm confident someone with the dough will give this work of art a good home.

I am sorely torn, here. I am about 9 months into the wait for a sword that I ordered from Patrick, his # 118 Abingdon sword, but that one is soooo gorgeous! Gads, what a temptation!

OK, it is Patrick's number 113 sword, from 8th Century Great Britain, so it's an Anglo-Saxon sword. Patrick's asking price is 1,270 EUROs or $1,692 US, about $100 less that the fellow is asking. $100 is not a lot to get one of Patrick's beauties immediately if the style appeals to you.

Hi guys,
It appears that Johnathan has decided not to sell his sword after all.
I only found out now via the LH string and have not heard anything from him at all - I kind feel I've wasted my time and everyone elses
Still, at least he decided to keep the fantastic sword!!
(KS - that really IS the last time I help someone out!!!!!)

Not to worry, at least we got to see some pictures of a beautiful piece. Glad I managed to rein myself in on this one though.
